Úšava Tractor Festival Showcases Vintage Zetor Tractors

The fourth annual Úšava tractor festival in the Czech village of Úšava featured 42 historic tractors, primarily Czech Zetor models, many dating back to the 1950s. Organisers offered music, children's activities, rides on carousels, and a midday parade of the tractors to nearby Staré Sedliště. A highlight was a pulling contest where 25 volunteers attempted to drag a 1,580‑kg Zetor 25 against the machine, a repeat of a competition introduced last year.

František Fatura, a member of the Friends of Úšava association, said the event grew from a personal idea to a community tradition, with plans for future summer and autumn activities such as a Halloween trail for children.
