Renewable Energy India Expo 2026 highlights solar and storage advancements

The Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026, held in Greater Noida, has brought together global industry leaders to showcase advancements in solar technology, energy storage, and grid stability. The event highlights India’s rapid expansion in the renewable sector, which has already surpassed 300 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity.

Key industry developments include the unveiling of high-efficiency solar products. TCL Zhonghuan is presenting X-series silicon wafers and BlueArk energy storage solutions, while Emmvee and Saatvik Green have introduced advanced TOPCon modules featuring quad-cut cell designs to improve power output and reduce degradation. Electrent has expanded its portfolio with lithium energy storage systems and solar hybrid inverters for residential and industrial use.

Discussions at the expo emphasized international cooperation, with representatives from Australia, Germany, and Scotland exploring partnerships in battery manufacturing and critical minerals. Leaders noted that combining renewable generation with storage is essential for transitioning from a “petro-state” to an “electro-state.” Additionally, the event highlighted the growing importance of domestic manufacturing and the need for high-quality components capable of withstanding diverse environmental conditions.
