Avadhesh Prasad accuses BJP of insulting Sanatan Dharma

Socialist Party MP Avadhesh Prasad alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has committed the greatest insult to Sanatan Dharma. He cited a series of incidents, including a ceremony in Lucknow where party members allegedly made a deity dance, a reported mistreatment of a saint in Prayagraj, and alleged theft of offerings at the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Prasad also criticised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, accusing him of using bulldozers to demolish homes and of disrespecting religious traditions. He contrasted the BJP’s actions with those of previous state leaders, claiming the party exploits religious symbols for political and commercial gain.
