Avalanche (AVAX) rises 50% in four weeks amid RWA growth

Avalanche (AVAX) has experienced significant price growth, rising approximately 50% over a four-week period to trade around $11. This performance has outpaced major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ether.

Key drivers for this momentum include the Helicon mainnet upgrade, which aimed to increase block verification speeds and shorten staking periods, as well as a surge in real-world asset (RWA) integration. Avalanche saw a $266 million increase in RWA market capitalization in the 30 days leading up to late September, driven largely by $131.2 million in inflows into tokenized stocks.

Institutional interest is also contributing to the network's development, with mentions of integrations involving Goldman Sachs and testing related to the New York Stock Exchange and ICE for tokenized assets.
