Avalanche (AVAX) sees rising institutional interest via new spot ETFs

Institutional interest in Avalanche (AVAX) is increasing as major US asset managers Bitwise, VanEck, and Grayscale have collectively accumulated over 5 million AVAX. These firms have launched US-listed spot Avalanche funds—trading under the tickers BAVA, VAVX, and GAVA—which incorporate staking to generate yield for investors.

These funds aim to stake approximately 70% of their holdings, with Grayscale’s GAVA reportedly reaching an 81% staking rate by late August 2026. The gross annualized staking yield on the Avalanche network has been approximately 5.4%. The staggered rollout of these products began with VanEck in January 2026, followed by Grayscale in March and Bitwise in April.

Market analysts suggest this institutional participation and increased staking activity could reduce available supply, potentially supporting a bullish reversal for AVAX. While the token recently experienced a 3.16% decline, growing network metrics and institutional backing are being monitored as indicators of long-term momentum.
