Avalanche expands institutional use through Hyundai Card and RWA integration

The Avalanche blockchain ecosystem is seeing increased institutional interest driven by enterprise adoption and real-world asset (RWA) integration. Hyundai Card has announced plans to expand its use of the Avalanche network beyond international transactions to include internal compliance oversight, reconciliation workflows, and transactions occurring both during and outside of standard banking hours.

Simultaneously, the network is strengthening its ties to traditional finance. The Lynq institutional settlement network, built on Avalanche, has enabled access to Goldman Sachs’ Financial Square Treasury Instruments Fund for eligible participants. This development is part of a broader trend toward tokenizing financial instruments on blockchain infrastructure.

Technical upgrades also support this growth. The activation of Helicon on the Avalanche mainnet has introduced continuous execution and a more flexible gas-fee system. Additionally, the ecosystem has seen expanded market access through the launch of a U.S.-listed spot Avalanche ETF by VanEck.
