Avalanche network sees tokenization growth amid price decline

The Avalanche network is expanding its utility through tokenization initiatives, even as its native token, AVAX, faces significant market pressure. Dinari has launched its dShares platform on the Avalanche C-Chain, offering over 350 tokenized stocks to modernize capital markets infrastructure.

Despite these developments in network usage, AVAX has experienced a difficult year. As of late October 2026, the token was trading at approximately $8.36 to $8.42, representing a 55.25% decrease over twelve months and a significant drop from its 2021 peak. Market sentiment remains weak, with the Crypto Fear and Greed Index recording a value of 30, indicating fear.

While the expansion of onchain stocks and other projects like DIFC court records suggest growing network adoption, analysts note that these developments have not yet translated into price gains or significant ETF inflows. Key risks for the asset include deep drawdowns, stalled ETF flows, and bearish technical indicators.
