Avalon Foundation implements PSEA protection principles

The Avalon Foundation, with support from IOM Poland, has implemented PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) principles to ensure the safety and dignity of those receiving aid.

These rules and procedures are designed to protect beneficiaries from misconduct by employees, collaborators, and volunteers. The framework aims to provide a safe environment, prevent all forms of exploitation—particularly sexual abuse—and clearly define unacceptable behaviors in relationships between aid providers and recipients.

Under these guidelines, all personnel acting on behalf of the foundation are obligated to treat individuals with respect and dignity without discrimination, maintain professional boundaries, and never demand money, gifts, or sexual favors in exchange for assistance. Beneficiaries retain the right to receive aid regardless of gender, age, origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or social status.
