Avasköy Water Aqueduct transformed into social living area

The Avasköy Water Aqueduct in Esenler has been transformed into a social living area following a restoration project. Esenler Mayor Mehmet Tevfik Göksu announced that the historic structure, a legacy of Mimar Sinan, was restored according to its original design.

In addition to preserving the historical integrity of the aqueduct, the surrounding area has been reorganized to include sports and relaxation zones, a children's park, and the Eskafe social hub. Plans are also underway to open a water museum in the vicinity to further integrate the site into local community life.
