Avatar Aang film showcases adult Aang at Comic-Con and details 3D set design

At San Diego Comic‑Con, the cast and creators of the upcoming Paramount+ film *Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender* presented the first look at an older, wiser Aang. Eric Nam, the voice of adult Aang, said, "When I think about Aang and his journey, he is so many different things to so many different people… we see him as an adult who’s coming to terms with his place in the world and the responsibilities that he holds." The panel, which also featured Dave Bautista, Jessica Matten, Román Zaragoza and creator Bryan Konietzko, emphasized the theme of maintaining peace after a victory.

Separately, production artist Connor Sheehan explained how the arena for Toph’s introduction was built in Blender before being handed to animators, noting the environment took roughly two work weeks. The behind‑the‑scenes breakdown highlights the blend of 2D animation with 3D elements used throughout the film’s development.
