Avatar Legends Fighting Game Adds Cheat Code for Locked Characters and New Breakdown Training Mode
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game launched this week with a roster of twelve playable characters. Two characters—Nightmare Korra and Avatar State Aang—are locked behind story progress (Chapter 6 and Chapter 11 respectively). A hidden cheat code lets players unlock them instantly from the main menu by highlighting Arcade Mode, Training, Local VS, then Arcade Mode again and pressing the Select/Back/Share button (the Share button on the DualSense controller works). The characters are currently less polished than the rest of the cast, but developers have promised future improvements.
The game also introduces an experimental "Breakdown mode" within its Training section. This system pauses combo demos at each step, letting players input the required command and see the character reset into the next position, effectively teaching combos in a step‑by‑step manner. Trials are offered at novice, intermediate, and master levels for every fighter. While the title lacks ranked matchmaking and a spectator mode, the developers plan to add these features along with other updates.
