Avatar Studios Unveils 'Seven Havens' Series with New Hero Pavi at Comic-Con

Avatar Studios announced the new animated series "Avatar: Seven Havens" during its Hall H presentation at the San Diego Comic‑Con. The 26‑episode 2D series introduces a new earth‑bender heroine, Pavi, who must navigate a world reshaped after the events of the original saga. Creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko returned to helm the show, which adopts a darker tone aimed at an older audience.

The teaser hinted that Avatar Korra may appear in a conflicted role, and the studio confirmed that original voice actress Janet Varney will not return. Speculation grew after Indigenous actress Devery Jacobs, known for "Reservation Dogs," appeared on the studio’s podcast, raising the possibility she could voice Korra. "Avatar: Seven Havens" will debut on Paramount+ on October 9.
