Avathon launches AI Center of Excellence in Bangalore

Avathon, a company specializing in autonomy for operations, has announced the establishment of an AI Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bangalore, India. The new center aims to advance the science of Physical AI and develop frontier models for autonomous industrial systems.

The facility will host AI scientists, engineers, and technical leaders to focus on complex industrial applications, including energy, mining, aerospace, supply chains, robotics, and manufacturing. According to CEO Pervinder Johar, the mission is to build an intelligence layer for the physical economy, enabling machines to reason through complexity and take action in real-world environments.
