AVAX and AKTOR report strong H1 2026 financial results

Greek infrastructure companies AVAX Group and AKTOR Group have reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026, characterized by high order backlogs and significant EBITDA growth.

AVAX Group reported a turnover of €472 million and net profits of €27.3 million. The company’s order backlog has reached a record high of over €3 billion, supported by new contracts worth €850 million signed in 2026. AVAX maintains a low net debt-to-EBITDA ratio of 2.1x, despite inflationary pressures and geopolitical challenges affecting construction costs. Its operations are active in Greece and Romania.

AKTOR Group reported a turnover of €649 million, with EBITDA increasing by 38% to €91 million. On a pro forma basis, EBITDA rose by 85% to €120 million. The company’s order backlog stands at €4.5 billion, with 67% consisting of signed contracts. AKTOR also reported strong liquidity with pro forma cash reserves of €1.1 billion and total equity of €1 billion. The group is pursuing a long-term investment plan of €3 billion through 2031 to expand its infrastructure activities.
