Bienal Internacional do Livro de São Paulo hosts major literary event
The 28th Bienal Internacional do Livro de São Paulo is taking place at the Distrito Anhembi from September 4 to 13, 2026. The event features a wide array of national and international authors, including Raphael Montes, Conceição Evaristo, Paula Pimenta, Carina Rissi, Thalita Rebouças, Lynn Painter, and Alice Oseman.
Various organizations and groups are participating in the fair. Editora Appris is hosting debates on topics such as autism, giftedness, and high abilities. The Association of Journalists and Writers of Brazil (AJEB-AM) is representing Amazonian literature, showcasing works by authors such as Érica Lima Aguiar, Kátia Colares Ribeiro, Marilândia Gama, and Eleonora Edithe Monteiro de Oliveira.
