Avella launches VisitAvella digital tourism platform

The Municipality of Avella is launching ‘VisitAvella’, a new digital platform and mobile application designed to promote local tourism through technological innovation. The project aims to make the city’s historical, archaeological, natural, and cultural heritage more accessible and engaging for visitors.

The platform integrates artificial intelligence to suggest personalized itineraries and activities based on individual traveler interests. To ensure inclusivity, the service includes features such as Italian Sign Language (LIS) videos, audio guides, multilingual content, and simplified text to reduce communication barriers for diverse audiences, including international tourists.

Available on the App Store and Google Play, the tool allows users to research information, plan routes, and book visits and experiences directly online. The official presentation of the platform is scheduled for September 24 at the Sala Alvarez in the Palazzo Baronale.
