Avellaneda Mayor celebrates local orchestra anniversaries

Magdalena Sierra, the Mayor of Avellaneda, participated in celebrations for the 13th anniversary of the ‘Creer es Crear’ orchestra in Villa Corina and the 14th anniversary of ‘El Docke Musical’ in Villa Inflamable.

The ‘Creer es Crear’ orchestra consists of 87 children and adolescents and operates under the Provincial Program of Choirs and Bonaerense Orchestras. This initiative provides free, public musical education, offering lessons in various instruments including violin, cello, trumpet, and percussion. To support the program, local institutions held fundraising stands during the event to purchase new instruments.

Mayor Sierra was joined by municipal officials, including the Secretary of Culture Federico Bonaldi and the Secretary of Education Claudia Colaso, to attend the live concert and a performance by the ‘Luna Cautiva’ folklore ballet.
