Avellino Mayor discusses new stadium partnership with US Avellino

Avellino Mayor Nello Pizza has expressed the administration's commitment to constructing a new stadium in collaboration with US Avellino. The Mayor is exploring a public-private partnership with club owner Angelo Antonio D’Agostino to mitigate high costs and lengthy timelines for the municipality.

Pizza noted that constant dialogue with the Campania Region is essential for the project's realization. Regarding the Curva Nord section of the current stadium, the Mayor indicated a desire to reopen it to fans, provided there is a short-term project in place to avoid wasting resources before the new stadium is completed.
