Avellino Police Issue 50 Return Bans and 25 Domestic Violence Warnings

The Questura di Avellino, headed by Questore Pasquale Picone, has enacted a series of preventive orders following targeted territorial control operations. In the last two months the police issued 50 Fogli di Via (mandatory return bans) against individuals considered dangerous, two urban‑area access bans, and one proposal for special surveillance.

Additionally, 16 oral warnings were delivered to socially dangerous subjects and 25 formal admonitions were issued for domestic or gender‑based violence, in coordination with the judiciary to protect victims. Authorities say the admonition tool has helped lower recidivism and they urge victims and witnesses to report abuse promptly.
