Avellino targets Fabio Depaoli from Sampdoria

Avellino is intensifying its transfer market activity, shifting its primary focus for the right-back position to Fabio Depaoli from Sampdoria. Avellino's sporting director, Mario Aiello, has reportedly contacted Sampdoria regarding the 1997-born defender, who is currently available for a loan with an option to buy.

Avellino manager Alessandro Nesta has expressed a specific need for a right-back to provide competition for Tommaso Cancellotti. Depaoli brings significant experience to the potential move, having recorded 168 appearances in Serie A and 93 in Serie B throughout his career.

In addition to the pursuit of Depaoli, Avellino is revisiting interest in midfielder Natan Girma from Reggiana. The club is also monitoring offensive options, though significant investment in Girma could impact their ability to pursue other targets, such as Rodrigo Marina from Betis Sevilla.
