Avellino targets new trequartista and goalkeeper in transfer window
Italian Serie B club Avellino is actively shaping its squad for the upcoming season. The sporting director, Mario Aiello, has identified two leading candidates for the trequartista role: 19‑year‑old Luis Hasa, owned by Napoli and loaned from Lecce after a productive spell at Carrarese with five goals and four assists, and 20‑year‑old Rares Ilie, a Nizza player currently on loan at Empoli whose contract runs until 2027. The club is weighing factors such as the players' performance continuity, technical qualities, and agent connections before deciding on a permanent signing.
In parallel, Avellino is pursuing goalkeeper Sebastiano Desplanches, who is set to leave Palermo. Desplanches spent the previous season on loan at Pescara, where he suffered a quadriceps injury but returned to fitness. The club’s goalkeeper search also includes monitoring the situations of Daffara and Martinelli, with the intention of finalising arrangements before the transfer deadline.
