Avellino targets Vlahovic, Palumbo and other Serie A talents

Italian Serie C club Avellino is active in the summer transfer market, securing agreements with Juventus for defender Brando Moruzzie, with Fiorentina for goalkeeper Tommaso Martinelli and with other clubs for midfielder Giacomo Faticanti. Director of sport Mario Aiello has also indicated interest in Atalanta’s Bergamo base and is reportedly reconsidering a move for Serbian striker Vanja Vlahovic, who previously struggled at Spezia with 23 appearances and two goals.

The club’s scouting also focuses on forward Luca Moro, owned by Sassuolo, and midfielder Martin Palumbo, a 2002‑born play‑maker whose recent performances have drawn attention from Cagliari as well as clubs in Spain and Belgium. Avellino will weigh the player’s wishes and financial terms before deciding on any departures or new signings.
