Avelloz launches AZ170 Bravo motorcycle and announces expansion plans
Brazilian motorcycle manufacturer Avelloz has officially launched the AZ170 Bravo, a 170cc street motorcycle designed to compete in the high-volume urban segment. Developed in partnership with the Chinese company Loncin, the model features an 18.3 hp engine, full LED lighting, CBS brakes, and a digital dashboard. With a suggested retail price of R$ 16,990, the bike aims to offer a more affordable and well-equipped alternative to established competitors like the Honda CG 160 and Yamaha Factor 150.
Beyond the new model launch, Avelloz announced an aggressive expansion strategy through 2027. The company plans to open a new assembly line in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM) early next year to complement its existing production in Pernambuco. The AZ170 Bravo will be the first model assembled in Manaus.
Avelloz also revealed plans for four additional launches in 2025, including the AZ125C, the AZ1S (a 110cc moped), the AZ150GT scooter, and the AZ300X adventure model. This expansion seeks to capture various market segments, ranging from budget-friendly urban commuters to more specialized adventure motorcycles.
