Avenged Sevenfold fan goes viral after Montreal onstage performance

A performance by a fan during an Avenged Sevenfold concert at Montreal’s Centre Bell on August 8 has gone viral online. Seventeen-year-old Zakary Pépin was invited onstage by vocalist M. Shadows to perform lead vocals for the song ‘Unholy Confessions’.

Pépin indicated the spontaneous moment may have been prompted by technical issues with the band's equipment. The performance has garnered millions of views across social media platforms.

Avenged Sevenfold is currently on a North American tour co-headlining with Good Charlotte. The band has also announced an upcoming tour in Australia and New Zealand for October, with scheduled stops in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland.
