Avenged Sevenfold performs energetic concert at Jakarta International Stadium

American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold performed a high-energy concert at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The event featured opening acts St. Loco and Isyana Sarasvati.

During the performance, drummer Brooks Wackerman experienced a technical issue when his double pedal drum broke following the intense opening song, ‘Nightmare’. Vocalist M. Shadows addressed the crowd with humor while the crew worked to repair the equipment. The setlist included hits such as ‘Afterlife’, ‘Shepherd of Fire’, and an emotional rendition of ‘So Far Away’, dedicated to the band’s late drummer, James ‘The Rev’ Sullivan.

Following the successful Jakarta show, M. Shadows indicated that the band is considering expanding future Indonesian tours to include other major cities beyond the capital to meet the high demand from local fans.
