Avenged Sevenfold releases independent STATICA music video

Avenged Sevenfold’s alter‑ego project STATICA has released the official music video for the title track “Statica”. The clip, directed by Lance Drake, was filmed in Northridge, California and features a retro‑futuristic night‑time aesthetic.

The four‑song EP, surprise‑released a week earlier, includes “Lights”, “Statica”, “Rejoice” and “Ashes” and runs 18 minutes and 7 seconds. The band announced that after eight albums with Warner they are now fully independent and have no intention of returning to a label. The release follows their 2023 album “Life Is But A Dream…” and the single “Magic”, which was tied to Call of Duty’s Black Ops 7 seasonal content.

Avenged Sevenfold is currently touring North America with Good Charlotte, a trek that began in late July and runs through August.
