Avengers: Doomsday promotional clips reveal new costumes and character tensions
New promotional material for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday has provided fans with glimpses of character updates and interpersonal tensions. A recent skit regarding theater etiquette features the cast and highlights James Marsden appearing in a comic-accurate Cyclops costume, a departure from the black latex suits seen in previous X-Men films.
Additionally, the footage suggests ongoing friction between Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. The tension reportedly stems from a dispute over the rights to the Avengers name following Sam Wilson’s intent to reform the team. Avengers: Doomsday is slated for release on December 18, 2026.
