Marvel Studios prepares for Avengers: Doomsday release

Marvel Studios is preparing for the release of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. The film features Robert Downey Jr. in the role of Victor Von Doom, marking a significant shift in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The production has reportedly utilized an improvisational approach, filming without a fully completed script to capture creative spontaneity.

Recent reports and rumors suggest that reshoots have concluded, potentially adding characters such as Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, and Sue Storm to the cast. Fans have also noted promotional artwork that hints at the possible involvement of the Time Variance Authority (TVA). The film is expected to serve as a prelude to ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’, which is slated for release in 2027.

To build momentum, Marvel has initiated a 100-day countdown to the film's release. Additionally, the studio plans to release ‘Avengers: Endgame Encore’ on Disney+, which will include new footage intended to tie directly into the upcoming ‘Doomsday’ narrative.
