Avengers: Doomsday unveils Sentry costume and decoded Doom jacket runes

Marvel Studios released a first look at the Sentry costume for the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, confirming the character’s appearance in the multiversal conflict. The costume, shown in a LEGO set launching on October 4, features the yellow‑and‑blue suit worn by Lewis Pullman’s Bob Reynolds, who became Sentry after experiments by the O.X.E. Group. The set also includes a new Sentry minifigure, marking the character’s return after his last appearance in Thunderbolts.

At San Diego Comic‑Con, Robert Downey Jr. appeared in a custom jacket embroidered with mysterious runes. Fans decoded the runes as a phonetic cipher spelling messages such as “Revenge,” “Justice,” “There is no promise of tomorrow,” and the phrase “To the victor, go the spoils,” linking the symbols to Doctor Doom’s Latverian heritage. The film, the first part of a two‑part Avengers finale, is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026.
