Average Joe season 2 to premiere on Paramount+ in August

The second season of the Paramount+ series ‘Average Joe’ is set to premiere on August 19, with the first two episodes streaming immediately and subsequent episodes releasing weekly through September 15.

Created by Robb Cullen, the series follows a Pittsburgh plumber, played by Deon Cole, who becomes entangled in organized crime after discovering his late father stole $10 million from the Russian mob. While the first season was filmed in Atlanta, the eight-episode second season was filmed in South Africa.

Cast members Deon Cole, Michael Trucco, Malcolm Barrett, and Cynthia Kaye McWilliams have indicated that the new season will increase the stakes for the characters, exploring deeper emotional layers and uncharted territory following the cliffhanger of the first season.
