Aversa pet cremation business owner charged after abandoning dog carcass

The owner of a pet cremation and disposal business in Aversa, Caserta, has been reported to authorities after abandoning a pitbull carcass on a street instead of disposing of it as requested. The investigation was launched by the Carabinieri Forestale of Marcianise following the discovery of the remains by ASL veterinarians near the owner's home.

The business owner faces charges for the illegal management and disposal of special waste. Additionally, the individual's driver's license has been suspended because the illegal act was committed using a company truck.

The carcass has been placed under sanitary seizure by the Marcianise ASL and will undergo an autopsy at the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale di Portici to determine the circumstances surrounding the animal's death and subsequent abandonment.
