Aversa teenager hospitalized after violent group assault

A 17-year-old from Casapozzano was violently assaulted in Aversa on the evening of August 22. According to his family, the teenager was surrounded by a group and struck with kicks and punches, even after falling to the ground. The victim sustained a traumatic brain injury, facial trauma, and nasal fractures, requiring surgical intervention.

Following the physical attack, the victim's father reported new concerns regarding online provocations. He alleges that the group involved has been engaging in mockery and provocations through social media livestreams and posts. The family has sought assistance from Deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli to prevent further escalation and has filed a formal complaint with law enforcement.
