Avery Styles Wins GCW Debut in Omaha, Honoring Father AJ Styles

Nineteen‑year‑old Avery Styles, the son of WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles, made his professional wrestling debut for Game Changer Wrestling at the Top Play event in Omaha, Nebraska. He entered the arena to his father's former entrance music “Demi Gods,” defeated Alex Lev, and secured the victory with the Spiral Tap finisher, a move associated with his father.

During the match Avery displayed a shooting‑star press from the apron, a reverse DDT and other signature moves, earning strong crowd support. After the win, a confrontation with Marcus Mathers set up a future bout at GCW Rude Awakening in Minneapolis, scheduled for the WWE SummerSlam 2026 weekend.
