Avesta Ev Aletleri files for concordat amid revenue decline
Avesta Ev Aletleri, a small home appliance manufacturer operating in Istanbul since 1990, has filed for concordat due to financial difficulties. The company produces a wide range of kitchen products, including tea and coffee machines, samovars, grills, fryers, blenders, and food processors.
The Istanbul 3rd Civil Court of First Instance has granted a three-month temporary respite for the company. Three commissioners—Prof. Dr. Şeyma Çalışkan Çavdar, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Pamukçu, and Attorney Mehmet Kılıç—have been appointed to oversee the process.
Financial data indicates a significant decline in the company's performance. Following a peak in 2024, the company's tax base dropped by approximately 62% in 2025. Creditors have a seven-day period from the announcement of the decision to file objections with the court if they believe the concordat request is unjustified.
