Avetid launches new performing arts season in Valencia

The Associació Valenciana d’Empreses d’Arts Escèniques (Avetid) has launched its ‘Les arts escèniques valencianes... Comencem!’ campaign to mark the start of the new performing arts season. The central event was held at the Teatre el Musical (TEM) in Valencia, bringing together cultural representatives and performing arts companies from across the Valencian Community.

María Ángeles Fayos, president of Avetid and communications director of Olympia Metropolitana, emphasized the need for long-term cultural policies. She noted that the sector has faced significant challenges, including precarious working conditions and instability in regional cultural management, citing frequent changes in the leadership of the Conselleria de Cultura and issues regarding aid management by the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC).
