Aveyron villages prepare for upcoming local festivals

Several villages in the Aveyron region of France are preparing for upcoming local festivities.

Aguessac will host its votive festival from August 14 to August 16. Following its recognition as the ‘Best Village Festival of Aveyron’ earlier this year, the event features a variety of activities including musical performances by Eko Eko and Les Frères Rayz, a flea market, pétanque competitions, and traditional meals such as aligot-saucisse and dinde basquaise.

In Avezac, the Saint-Barthélemy festivals are scheduled from August 28 to September 1. This year’s edition follows a ‘Safari’ theme and includes a moped gathering, rock music performances, and sporting events organized by the Fit & Trail association, such as trail running and orienteering.
