Avezzano to host football memorial and independent music festival

Avezzano will host two distinct community events on August 30.

The first is the inaugural Gabriele Fegatilli Memorial, a football tournament held at the Blanco Village sports center. The event honors Fegatilli, a former Avezzano player and dedicated youth coach who passed away at age 70. The tournament aims to celebrate the values of respect, discipline, and teamwork that he instilled in generations of young athletes.

Additionally, the Marsica Crea Festival will take place in Piazza San Bartolomeo starting at 21:30. This independent music festival focuses on local talent and emerging artists, featuring a lineup that includes Calliope, Aurora Lupiani, Liliana Miri, Bussola Rottae, and Marco Delfini, alongside rising artists Antonella Scellinie and Carla Gabriele. The event is supported by the Municipality of Avezzano and offers free admission.
