Avi Loeb discusses UAP disclosure and extraterrestrial contact

Avi Loeb, head of the administration’s Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) Science Advisory Council, stated that any potential extraterrestrial visitors from interstellar space would likely have little interest in human politics or the identity of the U.S. President. Loeb, a physicist from Harvard University, noted that while such a discovery would permanently define a president's legacy and shape the future of humanity, interstellar travelers would view human territorial divisions as a low priority.

The advisory council is part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to increase transparency regarding UAPs. While the Pentagon has released five sets of information to the public, these records have not provided definitive evidence of extraterrestrial technology, consisting instead of various historical and recent mysterious encounters. Additionally, the administration is developing processes to protect government whistleblowers, allowing them to share UAP-related information without fear of violating non-disclosure agreements.
