Avianca expands Bogotá-Córdoba connectivity and premium services

Avianca has expanded its operations between Colombia and Argentina by increasing the frequency of its Bogotá-Córdoba route to daily service. Utilizing Airbus A320 aircraft with a 180-passenger capacity, the airline now provides over 2,500 seats per week on this route, facilitating increased commercial and tourist exchange through its hub at El Dorado International Airport.

In addition to expanded connectivity, the airline is differentiating its premium travel offerings. The ‘Business Class Américas’ service is designed for intra-American flights, primarily on single-aisle aircraft. Conversely, ‘Insignia by Avianca’ is tailored for long-haul routes to and from Europe and New York, operated on Boeing 787 aircraft. The Insignia experience includes exclusive check-in at El Dorado and enhanced amenities such as noise-canceling headphones and specialized amenity kits.
