Avianca to resume permanent direct flights between Cali and Miami
Avianca has announced the permanent reinstatement of direct flights between Cali, Colombia, and Miami, Florida, starting December 17, 2026. Moving away from a seasonal model, the airline will integrate this route into its year-round network.
The service will be implemented in two phases. During the high season, from December 17, 2026, to January 31, 2027, the airline will operate daily flights in both directions. Starting February 1, 2027, the frequency will adjust to four weekly flights, scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Passengers on these routes will have access to the Business Class Americas service, which includes priority airport processing, access to VIP lounges within the Star Alliance network, and expanded baggage allowances.
