Aviation accidents reported in British Columbia and Alaska

A series of aviation accidents has occurred in both Canada and the United States. In British Columbia, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada has deployed a team to investigate a small aircraft accident near Mission in the Fraser Valley. This marks the third aviation-related deployment by the agency in British Columbia this month, following a fatal emergency landing in Prince George and a mid-air collision near Chilliwack.

In Alaska, a Piper PA-24 carrying four people crashed into shallow waters in the Seldovia Slough near the coastal town of Seldovia. All four adults on board were killed. The aircraft was traveling from Anchorage to Seldovia when the incident occurred. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause. This follows another fatal crash in western Alaska less than a week ago, which resulted in eight deaths at a remote military site.
