Aviation festivals scheduled for Toruń and Kraków

Poland will host significant aviation events on August 30. In Toruń, the inaugural Copernicus Airshow will feature three distinct blocks of performances over the Vistula River. The program includes afternoon aerobatics, helicopter displays, and historical aircraft presentations, followed by sunset synchronized maneuvers with pyrotechnics. The event concludes with a “Light & Fire” night block featuring lasers, pyrotechnics, and music.

In Kraków, the Polish Aviation Festival will commemorate the centenary of the historic Warsaw–Tokyo–Warsaw flight completed by Bolesław Orliński and Leonardo Kubiak. Held at the Polish Aviation Museum, the celebrations include aircraft flyovers at the Rakowice–Czyżyny airport, parachute jumps by the 6th Airborne Brigade, and a “Little Japan” zone featuring traditional tea ceremonies and workshops. The festival also includes an exhibition and a mapping show titled “Polish Wings” on the facade of Hangar No. 5.
