Aviation incidents reported involving Ryanair depressurization and AJet delays

Two separate aviation incidents have been reported involving passenger safety and operational delays.

On a Ryanair flight FR1879 departing from Thessaloniki, a cabin window shattered, causing sudden depressurization at approximately 20,000 feet. A 61-year-old Serbian passenger, Ljubiša Karović, was partially pulled toward the opening, with his head and shoulders exiting the aircraft. A passenger, Ms. Kiranou, assisted in pulling him back into the cabin alongside other travelers. Ms. Kiranou reported suffering from physical injuries and psychological trauma following the incident.

Separately, an AJet flight from Sarajevo to Ankara experienced a delay of nearly five hours on a Saturday night. Passengers reported significant disruptions at Sarajevo International Airport, claiming they were moved into a boarding tunnel before the aircraft was ready and were unable to return to the waiting area. The flight, intended to strengthen connections between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey, faced criticism regarding its operational reliability.
