Aviation memorabilia: The rising value of vintage airline tickets

Airline tickets are increasingly viewed as valuable collectibles that represent aviation culture and historical eras. Collector Syed bin Salam Tuhin, who maintains a collection of approximately 700 tickets from 59 different airlines, notes that these items serve as works of art through their specific designs and colors.

Tickets capture the aesthetic preferences and ethos of different time periods. For example, vintage tickets from the national carrier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, dating back to the 1970s and 1980s, demonstrate significant variations in color combinations and design styles.
