Spanish municipalities announce various local infrastructure and urban projects

Various Spanish municipalities are implementing local infrastructure and policy updates. In San Andrés del Rabanedo, the council is investing 181,500 euros to install LED lighting and vertical signage at eleven pedestrian crossings to improve road safety.

Los Realejos has awarded a 9.3 million euro contract for a new municipal swimming pool and sports complex, with construction expected to begin before the end of 2026. Meanwhile, Torrox is allocating nearly 500,000 euros toward agricultural employment programs, school improvements, and urban redevelopments.

In Huelva, officials have approved plans to protect archaeological remains at Plaza de La Soledad by utilizing intermediate floors for parking instead of basements. In Carbajosa de la Sagrada, the council addressed urban development and border issues regarding Ceuta. Additionally, Benavente is advancing its digital tourism strategy through new touchscreens and conducting sanitation works on waste containers.
