Regional developments reported across various German cities

Various regional developments are occurring across Germany. In Forst (Lausitz), authorities have offered a 1,000 Euro reward following the theft of the “Schlagballspieler” sculpture, a 1928 work by Georg Wrba, from the Forst water tower.

Wiesbaden has approved a preliminary draft for its 2040 land-use plan. The plan focuses on 70 areas totaling 591 hectares to balance housing needs, commercial development, and environmental protection. A public participation phase is scheduled to begin at the end of the year.

In Plön, the 338th Schlosskonzert will feature the AVIN Trio performing works by Rebecca Clarke, Beethoven, and Brahms. Meanwhile, in Pasewalk, local associations and institutions are preparing for their 2027 annual planning meeting at the Lokschuppen.
