Avinguda de Barcelona to face southbound traffic closures for roadworks

Avinguda de Barcelona in Terrassa will undergo temporary traffic restrictions starting Monday, August 31, due to asphalt improvement works. The project covers the stretch between Plaça de la Dona and Plaça dels Països Catalans.

During the works, which are scheduled to last until Friday, September 4, southbound traffic will be canceled. Vehicles will be diverted to Carrer de Pau Marsal, though one northbound lane will remain operational.

The construction will also impact urban public transport. Bus lines L3 (Maurina-Grípia), L9 (Avingudes), and LH (direction Hospital) will experience service changes. Several stops, including Plaça Catalunya, Miquel Vives, and Verge del Socors, will be suspended in the southbound direction. Provisional stops will be established on Carrer de Pau Marsal near Carrer de Lleó XIII, Miquel Vives, and Estanislau Figueras. Additionally, the interurban line E2.2 (Terrassa-Barcelona Zona Universitària) will be diverted to a provisional stop on Carrer de Pau Marsal at the height of Carrer de Lleó XIII.
