Avinox introduces DP200 handlebar display for e-bikes

Avinox has introduced the DP200, a new handlebar-mounted control display for its e-bike systems. The device features a 1.4-inch full-color LCD touchscreen designed for high visibility in direct sunlight. It is equipped with an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant surface and holds an IP56 rating for dust and water protection.

The display includes five buttons to allow for operation without removing hands from the handlebars, covering assistance levels, gear selection, and power. It supports automatic shifting features, such as downshifting while stationary and assistance during starts or descents.

Technological integrations include Apple ‘Find My’ support, allowing users to locate e-bikes via Apple’s network without additional tracking hardware. Additionally, the system allows for Apple Watch integration to unlock the bicycle and serve as a secondary data display. The DP200 serves as an alternative to frame-mounted displays, offering manufacturers more flexibility in e-bike integration.
