AVIS Marino faces tension following ASL inspection

Tensions have risen in Marino following a technical inspection of the AVIS municipal headquarters on Via Pietro Nenni by health authorities from ASL Roma 6. The inspection, requested by municipal offices in early April 2026, was conducted without prior notice.

AVIS Marino President Paolo Giansanti expressed deep bitterness regarding the unannounced visit, suggesting the move may be intended to create difficulties for the organization and its members. Following the inspection, authorities have requested additional documentation and certifications regarding the facility's structure and systems, which must be provided by late August.

Despite the administrative scrutiny, Giansanti confirmed that blood donations continue regularly and the collection point remains fully operational. He noted that the facility had previously received accreditation as a temporary collection point in 2015 and had passed a similar inspection as recently as March 11, 2026.
