AVM/Actv to launch reinforced school transport service in Venice

AVM/Actv will launch a reinforced transport service for high schools starting Thursday, September 10. The initiative includes approximately 500 daily trips, representing about 10% of the company's total service.

The service covers both the urban area of Venice and the metropolitan area of Venice, including locations such as Mestre, Dolo, Mirano, Mogliano, Piove di Sacco, and Adria. The schedule was developed in collaboration with the Metropolitan City and school mobility managers to align with regional academic calendars.

While some schools will implement a definitive schedule immediately, others may use provisional timings during the initial period. The company noted that the trend toward a five-day school week may present some organizational challenges due to varying schedules among different institutions.
